DELF French Exams

DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official, internationally recognised, valid for life qualifications awarded by France Éducation International and the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language.

DELF & DALF are composed of 6 independent diplomas that correspond to the 6 levels of the Common European Framework for Languages.: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, AND C2. Alliance Française Dublin is an Examination Centre for a large range of nationally and internationally recognised diplomas and certificates, all designed according to the levels of the Common European Framework for Language, some of them exclusive the Alliance Française Network. France Éducation international informe qu’un acte de cyber-malveillance a ciblé, entre le vendredi 9 janvier et le lundi 12 janvier 2026, la plateforme GAEL, utilisée pour la gestion des diplômes DELF et DALF.  

Cette cyberattaque a entraîné une atteinte à la confidentialité d’une partie des données personnelles des candidats et lauréats de ces diplômes depuis 2005, notamment les informations suivantes : civilité, nom, prénom, patronyme, ville de naissance, pays de naissance, date de naissance, nationalité, langue maternelle, premier centre de rattachement. Le principal risque potentiel pour les personnes concernées est l’usurpation d’identité. Nous invitons donc les candidats à la plus grande prudence. Une notification à la CNIL et un dépôt de plainte sont en cours.
