We are looking for an enrolment officer to be the first contact for potential and existing students, members and customers. The chosen candidate will be responsible for class registration, membership, taking payments and other miscellaneous duties supporting the administrative team.

Position:

The enrolment officer is under the supervision of the Head of customer service and will carry out the following tasks:

  • Manage the front desk and physically welcome people, give information and present the services offered
  • Answer phone and email inquiries
  • Enter customers’ data in our CRM software (AEC) and proceed with payments
  • Enter courses information for each session in AEC
  • Assist with classes: schedules, payments, confirming classes and cancellations
  • Contact students (or other related duties) when required by the course department (cancellation, delay, re-enrolment…)
  • Ensure all relevant information are duly communicated to the right service/person
  • Participate in our Open days or other promotional events when needed
  • Participate in the improvement of reception tasks and duties in order the enhance the customer service and experience (“reception bible”)
  • Ensure a daily follow-up of all customers’ requests to be communicated to the Head of Customer service
  • Keep track of all key dates and actions to be conducted on a regular basis (emailing campaigns, information, welcome email to new customers, specific forms…)

Skills and training:

  • Proactive, flexible and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted standards of customer service and conflict resolution
  • General proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Proficiency in Arc-en-ciel (data management and analytics) is a plus
  • Very strong communications skills – ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with the public, employees and students on a daily basis
  • English & French proficiency.

Contractual conditions

  • Place of work: Alliance Francaise de Dublin, 1 Kildare Street
  • Permanent contract
  • 25 hours contract
  • Your working hours will be scheduled between: Monday to Friday 9:30 to 18:45 / Saturday from 8:45 to 15:00

Due to the high demand from our learners, we are always on the lookout for FLE teachers.

Position:

  • Teach French to a wide range of students at levels A1 to C1, either face-to-face or co-modally, at our premises.
  • Implement a modern pedagogy, based on a communicative approach and the pedagogical progression of the Alliance Française de Dublin;
  • Evolve in a competitive and dynamic multicultural context, with a reactive and demanding public;
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions;
  • Participate in pedagogical development projects;
  • Participate in the general activities of the Alliance Française de Dublin.

Skills and training:

  • Training: Master MEEF, M1 FLE, DAEFLE, DPAFP
  • Current presence in Ireland desirable;
  • Professional experience in teaching FLE to young learners preferred;
  • Good communication skills, initiative and adaptability;
  • Demonstrate dynamism, enthusiasm, involvement, flexibility and cultural openness;
  • DELF-DALF examiner/corrector accreditation would be a plus;
  • Versatility: openness to innovative teaching practices and teaching different types of classes would be appreciated.

Contractual conditions

  • Flexible hours contract
  • Group lessons: firstly evenings 6:30-8:30 pm or Saturdays for children
  • Individual lessons: variable, according to demand
  • Remuneration: Precise salary conditions will be specified after the interview for shortlisted candidates.
