Language Centre
Welcome to the Alliance Française Dublin Language Centre! Whether you are an individual or a professional, 1 or 100 years old, an absolute beginner or a bilingual speaker, we have a French course that will suit your expectations and needs!
The Language Centre provides French courses for over 3,500 students every year, both on the premises, online, and schools, universities, public departments and private businesses in the city centre and the greater Dublin area.
We teach French for every age group, from 12 months onward and at every level from absolute beginners to bilingual speakers, with a large variety of subjects and material that can be arranged for group classes or private tuition: general French courses, conversation classes, cultural workshops, preparation for exams, Business French, Legal French, Corporate training.
Our instructors are all French native speakers and qualified and trained to teach French as a foreign language. Our students benefit from tuition in a broad range of classes backed by our pedagogical team and the extensive resources of our modern Multimedia Library. Alliance Française Dublin has also established itself as a resource facility and training centre for teachers of French in Ireland.
All our courses are designed according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), recognised by the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs and of Education and are Fás approved and tax deductible.

New Students
Students enrolling for the first time need an assessment. This is an essential procedure to discuss your needs with us and ensure that you are assigned to the type of course and level which suits you best. This initial assessment is free of charge.
Please consult our timetable or our newsletter for assessments dates (3 weeks before each new term).
Please note that complete beginners, children and toddlers do not need to be assessed.
