The French Library is a modern multiform space that can transform into a conference / screening venue with state-of-the-art audio and video systems. Books, graphic novels, newspapers, magazines, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, learning & teaching materials can be borrowed and consulted onsite. The online platform Culturethèque offers over 150,000 digital documents accessible anywhere in Ireland from any digital device. The French Library is the largest language library in Ireland.
The Library is a public space, and anyone may browse its collections. Borrowing rights and access to Culturethèque are on the other hand limited to Alliance Française Dublin Members. Get your Membership today!
Join the Library’s Discussion Group lunchtime every last Thursday of the month or evening time every last Tuesday.
The French Corner is new informal conversation workshop to practice your French, improve your communication skills, and make new friends in a convivial setting.

The French Library is part of the European Libraries Dublin, a new initiative that aims at creating bridges between languages, books and cultures through common cultural events and workshops.
European Libraries Dublin is comprised of Alliance Française Dublin, Goethe Institut Irland, Instituto Cervantès Dublin and Istituto Italiano di Cultura Dublino.
