TEF-TCF
TEF (Test d’Evaluation de Francais) and the TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français) and their various versions (TEF/TCF Tout Public, TEFAQ or TCF Québec for immigration to Quebec, TEF/TCF Canada for immigration to Canada, TEF/TCF IRN for French Naturalisation purposes) all aim at testing skills and knowledge in general French. The TEF and TCF are an international benchmark assessing your level of knowledge and skills in French.
Organised by the Centre de Langue Francaise de la Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Paris, and France Education International, they are often required for immigration, academic or naturalisation purposes.
The TEF and TCF certificates are valid for 2 years. Results are available 2 to 3 weeks after the exam.
How do I sign up ?
To register you must fill out the registration form here for the TEF or the TCF form here and send it back to exams@alliance-francaise.ie with a copy of your passport or a valid form of ID.
Please, note that you will be using the exams centre’s computers.

Alliance Française Dublin is an Examination Centre for a large range of nationally and internationally recognised diplomas and certificates, all designed according to the levels of the Common European Framework for Language, some of them exclusive to the Alliance Française Network. Preparation to every exam can be organised in group classes or private tuition.
